The Bride and Groom Pamper Day is designed to help the bride and groom relax immediately prior to their wedding-day. It gives then an opportunity to spend time together quietly away from the pressures that grow as the wedding-day draws near.
The day is a day spent relaxing with a series of therapies designed to enhance both appearance and a feeling of well- being.
The Bride’s Therapies included in the Day are as follows:

- Sea Spa Manicure
- Sea Spa Pedicure
- Indian Head Massage
The Groom’s Therapies included in the Day are as follows:
- Atlantic Conditioning Therapy for the Feet

- Indian Head Massage
- Atlantic Body Exfoliation
- An Aromatherapy Body Massage
Lunch and a cream tea are included in the day.
Seawater and its concentrate, seaweed, contain a harmonious balance of every element needed to support life at a cellular level. The skin readily accepts this energising substance and this helps the skin to gain hydration, nourishment and mineralisation.
At Downe we use products rich in seaweed to nourish and beautify the skin.
The Atlantic Body Exfoliation is a full body exfoliation using either Sea Spa Glow (which is rich in Dead Sea salts infused with mint essential oils and seaweed) or Pomegranate Cran-Apple all over body scrub (combining pomegranate, cranberry and apple with pure cane sugar). The exfoliation helps remove dull, dry accumulation of dead skin cells. It will leave you feeling energised and refreshed with silky smooth skin.
The European Seaweed Body Therapy is based on therepeutic Thalassotherapy and helps to increase circulation, purify, detoxify, balance and mineralise the skin. The relaxing therapy leaves the skin feeling healthier. Fresh seaweed is warmed to body temperature, then smoothed over the body. A warm thermal blanket is the wrapped around the body to help relieve stresss and to invigorate sore, stiff muscles.
The Exfoliation and Seaweed Body Therapy is followed by a full Aromatherapy Body Massage with a customised blend of essential oils to suit the client’s physical and emotional needs.
The Bride and Groom Pamper Day costs £239 for each of the Bride and Groom.
